We are at Albuquerque's Balloon Festival!

The Wagner's were up very early this morning...before 5:00 a.m!  By 5:30 a.m. we left our cozy travel trailer and headed to the Balloon Park.  Thankfully, the weather was good and the balloons flew.  Today was the Special Shapes Rodeo and the Flying Competition.

MUSE Concert at Pepsi Center was AWESOME!

WOW!  I just came home from the MUSE Concert!  Lisa and I have been looking forward to this concert for a long time.  We had tickets back in the spring but the band was not able to get past Aspen, CO due a snow storm.  The concert was re-scheduled for today, or I guess, now it was yesturday -- Saturday October 2nd.

It was worth the wait.  Loved it!!

Actually managed to get a few descent pictures:

My Upcycled Felted Wool Handbag was published in Haute Handbags!

One of my felted wool handbags was published in the Autumn 2010 issue of Haute Handbags . It is a publication from Stampington & Company. I have been a fan of many of the publications from Stampington & Company, so having one of my handmade items in an issue of theirs is really quite exciting for me.

I received my issue of the magazine in today's mail.

Here is my handbag:

I scanned the article for a closer look at the article:

Portion of the final page:

Here is another view of my upcycled bag. I took this picture before I sent my bag to the magazine.

Closeup of the flower and trim:

It's not a great picture, but here is a picture of the lining of the bag. It's a brocade fabric.

I love this issue, not just because I am a part of it but because the diversity and styles shown in this issue are great.
