Halloween - Black Peat Pots ready for Halloween Rosettes

After creating many vintage themed  Halloween rosettes, I decided to create about a dozen halloween decorated peat pots to hold some of the rosettes.

These are created using:

large peat pots painted black

ruffled crepe paper....orange, purple & green

black rick rac ribbon

white paper doilies

black scallop circle

stamped with white chalk marker

dictionary shredded paper

green foam inside peat pot to hold rosettes in place

Dictionary shred paper is the same dictionary paper in the rosette

These will also be available TODAY at A Paris Street Market in Aspen Grove from 8:00a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  (Rain or Shine).

Halloween - Vintage Theme Large Rosettes

I love working with layers and textures.  These vintage theme rosettes are just that.

layer of dictionary paper rosette with glittered edge...

layer of white paper doilies

layer of ruffled crepe paper with glittered edge...

scallop punched paper, black or glittered silver, green, purple...

sometimes, another layer of paper doilies...

vintage inspired color or B & W Halloween Clip art....

Hand-painted black dowels. However, these dowels are removable should you choose to use these Halloween rosettes as part of a garland or simply place in mantle as a decorative element.

Halloween rosettes in 2 sizes:

About 7.5 inches and 6.25 inches in diameter.

This is a favorite.  The dictionary paper has the illustration of a bat as well!

In this picture, you can appreciate the various layers:
These will be available this Saturday at A Paris Street Market in Aspen Grove from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Rain or Shine).  Hopefully shine since these are all paper.
